Classical massage
Massage is an old traditional form of treatment. It refers to manual manipulation of the body's soft tissues. Massage maintains the function of the musculoskeletal system and can be used to trigger muscle tension caused by stress and strain. Massage can improve joint mobility and relax the body and mind.
Massage is suitable for almost anyone, and the techniques used can be modified depending on your situation in terms of strength and specific tehchniques to suit you. However, please check the list below for contraindications for massage before booking the treatment. Some of these prevent the massage treatment completely, some may prevent the treatment locally or be an obstacle to the use of some techniques, and some require a doctor's approval.
When necessary, joint mobilization and kinesio taping can also be used in connection with the treatment, e.g. to reduce pain, relax/activate muscles, support the body's own healing processes or support and guide joint function.
